Âm nhạc Resident Evil 5

Các bản nhạc dùng trong trò chơi chủ yếu được soạn bởi Suzuki Kota, một số bản được soạn bởi Okugawa Hideki, Narita Akihiko và Kobuchi Seiko. Theo Suzuki thì việc chuyển thời gian diễn ra các sự kiện lên ban ngày không ảnh hưởng nhiều đến việc soạn nhạc mặc dù nó đã đòi hỏi phải có một sự cân bằng tốt hơn giữa các hiệu ứng âm thanh và những gì đang diễn ra trên màn hình do có thể nhìn thấy nhiều chi tiết hơn. Các bản nhạc của ông chủ yếu là điện tử nhưng cũng có 15 phút cho nhạc giao hưởng, các bản nhạc này được ghi âm ở Newman Scoring Stage của 20th Century Fox Studios tại Los Angeles với phần trình diễn của dàn nhạc Hollywood Studio Symphony. Hokoyama Wataru cũng góp vào vài bản nhạc với dàn giao hưởng của riêng mình. Capcom muốn ghi âm tại Los Angeles là vì công ty muốn có các bản nhạc theo phong cách Hollywood để tăng tính phim ảnh cùng độ hấp dẫn của trò chơi trên thị trường quốc tế. Album chứa các bản nhạc dùng trong trò chơi đã phát hành vào ngày 05 tháng 3 năm 2009.
